Georgia High School Basketball - Johnson County holds off Twiggs County
February 14, 2025: Wrightsville, GA 31096 The Johnson County Trojans basketball team scored 67 points and limited the visiting Twiggs County Cobras to 61 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Friday.
The Trojans now have a 9-12 record. They play next when they travel to Calhoun County for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. Johnson County will confront a Cougars team coming off a 56-48 non-league loss to Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA). The Cougars record now stands at 21-3.
With the loss, Twiggs County falls to 7-19 on the campaign. The Cobras travel to Randolph-Clay (Cuthbert, GA) to confront the Red Devils in a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 25-2. Randolph-Clay won 56-48 in their recent non-league game against Calhoun County (Edison, GA)
