The Rustburg Red Devils (Rustburg, VA) basketball edged the visiting Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA), 40-33 in Friday's league bout.

The Red Devils now possess a 10-10 record. They play next when they host Heritage for a Seminole bout on Monday, February 17. Rustburg will play a Pioneers team coming off a 61-24 league loss to Glass (Lynchburg, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 6-15.

With the loss, Liberty falls to 18-4 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Amherst County (Amherst, VA) to play the Lancers in a Seminole bout on Tuesday, February 18.
