The Hondo Valley Eagles (Hondo, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Vaughn Eagles (Vaughn, NM), 74-21 in Saturday's league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 14-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mountainair for a A District 3 bout on Monday, February 16. Hondo Valley will play a Mustangs team coming off a 58-51 league loss to Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 16-8.
