Michigan High School Basketball - Laingsburg tops Pewamo-Westphalia
February 15, 2023: Laingsburg, MI 48848 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Laingsburg Wolfpack (Laingsburg, MI) and the visiting Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates (Pewamo, MI), saw Laingsburg's basketball squad knock off Pewamo-Westphalia by a tally of 65-55.
With the victory, Laingsburg improves its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Wolfpack travel to Bath (Bath, MI) to play the Fighting Bees in a Central Michigan challenge on Friday, February 17. The Fighting Bees come into the challenge with a record of 4-12.
Next up, the Pirates play the Saranac Redskins (Saranac, MI) in a Central Michigan challenge, on Friday, February 17. Pewamo-Westphalia will attempt to improve on its 11-4 season record. The Redskins come into the challenge with a 3-14 record after their 73-63 non-league win over Central Montcalm (Stanton, MI).
