February 28, 2023: Pewamo, MI 48873 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Pewamo-Westphalia Pirates (Pewamo, MI) and the visiting Fowler Eagles (Fowler, MI), saw Pewamo-Westphalia's basketball squad wallop Fowler by a tally of 61-40.
With the victory, Pewamo-Westphalia improves its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Potterville (Potterville, MI) to confront the Vikings in a Central Michigan challenge on Thursday, March 2. The Vikings come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. Potterville lost 55-45 in their recent league challenge against Dansville (Dansville, MI)
Next up, the Eagles confront the St. Patrick Shamrocks (Portland, MI) in a Central Michigan challenge, on Thursday, March 2. Fowler will attempt to improve on its 10-8 season record. The Shamrocks come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 39-28 non-league loss to Lansing Christian (Lansing, MI).
