Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Waterford Ravens (Sandy, UT) and the host Merit Preparatory Academy Knights (Springville, UT), saw Waterford's basketball squad hold off Merit Preparatory Academy by a tally of 44-40.

With the victory, Waterford improves its record to 8-11 on the campaign. The Ravens travel to Kanab (Kanab, UT) to confront the Cowboys in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 18.
