Connecticut High School Basketball - Career Magnet tops Amity Regional
February 15, 2024: New Haven, CT 06519 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Career Magnet Panthers (New Haven, CT) and the visiting Amity Regional Spartans (Woodbridge, CT), saw Career Magnet's basketball squad knock off Amity Regional by a tally of 46-34.
With the victory, Career Magnet improves its record to 9-10 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT) to play the Owls in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Owls come into the challenge with a record of 8-9. Whitney RVT lost 60-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Bethel (Bethel, CT)
Next up, the Spartans play the Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 19. Amity Regional will attempt to improve on its 8-11 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 10-9 record after their 73-66 league loss to Bunnell (Stratford, CT).
