February 9, 2024: Woodbridge, CT 06525 The Amity Regional Spartans basketball team (Woodbridge, CT), was nudged 69-65 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting East Haven Yellowjackets (East Haven, CT)
The Yellowjackets now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Haven for a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset battle on Tuesday, February 13. East Haven will battle a Nighthawks team coming off a 58-45 non-league loss to West Haven (West Haven, CT). The Nighthawks record now stands at 10-8.
The Spartans (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Wolcott RVT was nudged by Platt RVT (Milford, CT), 62-55, in a non-league battle.
