The Cape Hatteras Hurricanes basketball team (Buxton, NC), was overwhelmed 77-44 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Hobgood Charter Raiders (Hobgood, NC)

The Raiders now possess a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ocracoke for a 1A Atlantic 5 battle on Monday, February 19. Hobgood Charter will battle a Dolphins team coming off a 73-40 league win over Mattamuskeet (Swan Quarter, NC). The Dolphins record now stands at 15-5.
