February 15, 2024: Stratton, CO 80836 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Stratton Eagles (Stratton, CO) and the visiting Idalia Wolves (Idalia, CO), saw Stratton's basketball squad hold off Idalia by a tally of 47-41.
With the victory, Stratton improves its record to 15-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Limon (Limon, CO) to confront the Badgers in a 2A/1A Union Pacific challenge on Friday, February 16. The Badgers come into the challenge with a record of 13-5. Limon won 67-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Fowler (Fowler, CO)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Fleming Wildcats (Fleming, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 16. Idalia will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 10-7 record after their 51-34 non-league loss to Sedgwick County (Julesburg, CO).
