Pennsylvania High School Ice Hockey - Chartiers Valley knocks off Blackhawk
February 15, 2024: Bridgeville, PA 15017 The Chartiers Valley Colts ice hockey squad scored 6 points and restricted the visiting Blackhawk Cougars to 1 in the Colts league victory on Thursday.
With the victory, Chartiers Valley moves its record to 18-0 on the campaign. The Colts travel to Moon Area (Moon Township, PA) to face the Tigers in a PIHL Class A Blue contest on Thursday, February 22. The Tigers go into the contest with a record of 11-8. Moon Area won 4-3 in their recent league contest against Richland (Johnstown, PA)
The Cougars now sport a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they host Avonworth for a PIHL Class A Blue contest on Thursday, February 22. Blackhawk will face a Antelopes squad coming off a 4-2 league win over Freeport (Freeport, PA). The Antelopes record now stands at 15-4.
