West Virginia High School Ice Hockey - Blackhawk holds off Wheeling Park
February 5, 2024: Wheeling, WV 26003 The Blackhawk Cougars edged the host Wheeling Park Patriots ice hockey squad by a tally of 2-1 in Monday's league bout.
With the victory, Blackhawk betters its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Cougars host Richland (Johnstown, PA) to confront the Rams in a PIHL Class A Blue bout on Thursday, February 8. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 13-18. Richland lost 6-3 in their recent non-league bout against Altoona (Altoona, PA)
The Patriots now have a 14-5 record. They take the field next when they host Plum for a PIHL Class A Blue bout on Thursday, February 22.
