Kentucky High School Basketball - Hazard triumphant over Clay County
February 15, 2025: Manchester, KY 40962 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (Hazard, KY) and the host Clay County Tigers (Manchester, KY), observed Hazard's basketball team overwhelm Clay County by a score of 77-35.
The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (24-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Breathitt County (Jackson, KY). The Bobcats come into the non-league challenge with a 19-7 record. In their last challenge, Breathitt County trounced Powell County (Stanton, KY), 79-76, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Oneida Baptist Institute Mountaineers (Oneida, KY) in a District 49 challenge, on Monday, February 17. Clay County will attempt to improve on its 18-6 season record.
