December 17, 2024: Hazard, KY 41701 Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (Hazard, KY) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY), 64-61 in a league match.
With the victory, Hazard advances its record to 7-0 on the year. The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs travel to Leslie County (Hyden, KY) to meet the Eagles in a District 54 match on Thursday, December 19. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-2. Leslie County lost 77-51 in their recent non-league match against Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY)
The Commodores now own a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to University School of Nashville for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. Perry County Central will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 56-48 league win over Grace Christian Academy (Franklin, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 6-3.
