January 31, 2025: Hazard, KY 41701 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Hazard Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (Hazard, KY) and the host Perry County Central Commodores (Hazard, KY), observed Hazard's basketball team knock off Perry County Central by a score of 62-49.
The Bulldogs / Lady Bulldogs (21-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Letcher County Central (Whitesburg, KY). The Cougars / Lady Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Letcher County Central was knocked off by Jenkins (Jenkins, KY), 69-52, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Commodores encounter the Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 3. Perry County Central will attempt to improve on its 17-10 season record. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a 20-4 record after their 106-23 non-league win over Knoxville Ambassadors (Knoxville, TN).
