In Saturday's league contest, the host Metlakatla Chiefs basketball team scored a good 35-24 triumph over the Craig Panthers.

The Chiefs (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against Unalakleet (Unalakleet, AK). The Wolfpack enter the non-league outing with a 14-2 record. In their last outing, Unalakleet ran past Aqqaluk (Noorvik, AK), 55-49, in a non-league outing.
