North Dakota High School Basketball - Red River overwhelms Moorhead
February 16, 2023: Grand Forks, ND 58201 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) and the visiting Moorhead Spuds (Moorhead, MN), saw Red River's basketball squad wallop Moorhead by a count of 84-57.
With the victory, Red River upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Roughriders host Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND) to play the Firebirds in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 21. The Firebirds come into the challenge with a record of 2-3.
Next up, the Spuds play the Detroit Lakes Lakers (Detroit Lakes, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 21. Moorhead will attempt to upgrade on its 15-5 season record. The Lakers come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 69-65 non-league loss to Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN).
