Massachusetts High School Basketball - Lawrence nips Andover
February 16, 2024: Lawrence, MA 01841 Lawrence Lancers (Lawrence, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Andover Golden Warriors (Andover, MA), 57-54 in a league bout.
With the win, Lawrence upgrades its record to 13-7 on the season. The Lancers travel to Newton North (Newtonville, MA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Sunday, February 18. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Newton North won 48-47 in their recent non-league bout against Boston College High (Boston, MA)
Next up, the Golden Warriors play the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 19. Andover will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a 3-14 record after their 66-51 non-league loss to Doherty Memorial (Worcester, MA).
