Arkansas High School Basketball - Little Rock Southwest can't hold off Central

February 16, 2024: Little Rock, AR 72103

The Central Tigers basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Little Rock Southwest Gryphons to 37 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Tigers face the North Little Rock Charging Wildcats (North Little Rock, AR) in a 6A Central match, on Tuesday, February 20. Central will attempt to move on its 23-5 season record. The Charging Wildcats enter the match with a 18-7 record after their 55-52 league win over Bryant (Bryant, AR).

With the defeat, Little Rock Southwest moves to 7-17 on the year. The Gryphons host Conway (Conway, AR) to face the Wampus Cats in a 6A Central match on Tuesday, February 20. The Wampus Cats enter the match with a record of 7-17. Conway lost 53-52 in their recent league match against Jonesboro (Jonesboro, AR)
