February 16, 2024: Des Lacs, ND 58733 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Des Lacs-Burlington Lakers (Des Lacs, ND) and the visiting Dunseith Dragons (Dunseith, ND), saw Des Lacs-Burlington's basketball squad wallop Dunseith by a tally of 77-37.
With the victory, Des Lacs-Burlington improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Bottineau (Bottineau, ND) to confront the Braves/Stars in a A Region 3 challenge on Friday, February 23. The Braves/Stars come into the challenge with a record of 11-8. Bottineau lost 55-49 in their recent league challenge against Stanley (Stanley, ND)
Next up, the Dragons confront the Turtle Mountain Braves (Belcourt, ND) in a A Region 3 challenge, on Friday, February 23. Dunseith will attempt to improve on its 3-20 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 5-15 record after their 75-43 league win over New Town (New Town, ND).
