February 16, 2024: Rutland, VT 05701 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Rutland Raiders (Rutland, VT) and the visiting Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT), saw Rutland's basketball squad overcome Mt. Mansfield by a tally of 47-33.
With the victory, Rutland improves its record to 15-5 on the campaign. The Raiders host Essex (Essex Junction, VT) to play the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 20. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 4-17. Essex lost 74-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Bellows Free Academy (St. Albans, VT)
Next up, the Cougars play the South Burlington Wolves (South Burlington, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 20. Mt. Mansfield will attempt to improve on its 4-16 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 63-56 league win over Colchester (Colchester, VT).
