Vermont High School Basketball - St. Johnsbury Academy tops Mt. Mansfield
February 6, 2024: St. Johnsbury, VT 05819 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT) and the visiting Mt. Mansfield Cougars (Jericho, VT), saw St. Johnsbury Academy's basketball squad knock off Mt. Mansfield by a tally of 57-38.
With the victory, St. Johnsbury Academy improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to South Burlington (South Burlington, VT) to play the Wolves in a Metro challenge on Friday, February 9. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 10-8. South Burlington lost 53-43 in their recent league challenge against Essex (Essex Junction, VT)
Next up, the Cougars play the Burlington Seahorses (Burlington, VT) in a Metro challenge, on Friday, February 9. Mt. Mansfield will attempt to improve on its 4-13 season record. The Seahorses come into the challenge with a 9-9 record after their 70-68 league loss to Colchester (Colchester, VT).
