Vermont High School Basketball - Rice Memorial nips St. Johnsbury Academy
January 2, 2024: St. Johnsbury, VT 05819 Rice Memorial Green Knights (South Burlington, VT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT), 78-74 in a league bout.
With the victory, Rice Memorial upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Green Knights host Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT) to face the Redhawks in a Metro game on Friday, January 5. The Redhawks enter the game with a record of 6-0. Champlain Valley Union won 79-28 in their recent league game against Essex (Essex Junction, VT)
