Princeton Tigers (Princeton, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN), 73-64 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Princeton upgrades its record to 2-20 on the season. The Tigers travel to Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN) to clash with the Thunder in a AAA Section 5 bout on Thursday, February 22. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 7-17.

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Monticello Magic (Monticello, MN) in a AAA Section 5 bout, on Tuesday, February 20. North Branch will attempt to upgrade on its 14-10 season record. The Magic go into the bout with a 8-15 record after their 86-74 league win over St. Francis (St. Francis, MN).
