Hermantown Hawks (Hermantown, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting North Branch Vikings (North Branch, MN), 75-65 in a league bout.

With the win, Hermantown upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Delano (Delano, MN) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 28. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 6-2. Delano won 90-54 in their recent non-league bout against Princeton (Princeton, MN)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Owatonna Huskies (Owatonna, MN) in a non-league game, on Friday, December 29. North Branch will attempt to move on its 5-3 season record. The Huskies enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 74-63 league win over Century (Rochester, MN).
