Indiana High School Basketball - Peru fells Rochester

February 16, 2024: Peru, IN 46970

Peru Tigers (Peru, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Rochester Zebras (Rochester, IN), 72-64 in a league bout.

With the win, Peru upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Tigers host Wabash (Wabash, IN) to play the Apaches in a Three Rivers bout on Friday, February 23. The Apaches go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Wabash won 44-36 in their recent league bout against Whitko (South Whitley, IN)

Next up, the Zebras play the Oregon-Davis Bobcats (Hamlet, IN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 20. Rochester will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 4-17 record after their 53-40 non-league loss to Trinity (South Bend, IN).
