The Maconaquah Braves basketball team scored 88 points and restricted the visiting Peru Tigers to 68 in the Braves league victory on Friday.

The Braves now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tippecanoe Valley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 13. Maconaquah will meet a Vikings team coming off a 56-45 non-league win over LaVille (Lakeville, IN). The Vikings record now stands at 8-5.

With the defeat, Peru moves to 7-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lafayette Central Catholic (Lafayette, IN) to meet the Knights in a non-league match on Friday, January 19. The Knights enter the match with a record of 8-2. Lafayette Central Catholic won 66-49 in their recent league match against Benton Central (Oxford, IN)
