Indiana High School Basketball - Peru nudges Tippecanoe Valley

December 15, 2023: Peru, IN 46970

Peru Tigers (Peru, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Tippecanoe Valley Vikings (Akron, IN), 55-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Peru upgrades its record to 4-2 on the season. The Tigers host Lewis Cass (Walton, IN) to clash with the Kings in a Three Rivers bout on Saturday, December 16. The Kings go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Lewis Cass lost 54-27 in their recent league bout against Whitko (South Whitley, IN)

Next up, the Vikings clash with the Wheeler Bearcats (Valparaiso, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Tippecanoe Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Bearcats go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 53-44 league win over Lake Station Edison (Lake Station, IN).
