Connecticut High School Basketball - Metropolitan Learning Center trounced by Weaver

The Weaver Beavers routed the visiting Metropolitan Learning Center Dragons basketball team by a final score of 62-28 in Thursday's league game.

In their next game, the Beavers face the Capital Prep Trailblazers (Hartford, CT) in a Capitol Region game, on Tuesday, February 22. Weaver will attempt to move on its 15-4 season record. The Trailblazers enter the game with a 13-5 record after their 64-59 league win over Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT).

With the defeat, Metropolitan Learning Center moves to 3-14 on the year. The Dragons travel to Academy of Aerospace and Engineering (Windsor, CT) to face the Jets in a Capitol Region game on Friday, February 18. The Jets enter the game with a record of 7-11.
