The Red Wing Wingers basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting John Marshall Rockets to 56 in the Wingers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wingers now sport a 17-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mankato West for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Red Wing will meet a Scarlets team coming off a 66-47 league loss to Mankato East (Mankato, MN). The Scarlets record now stands at 11-13.

The Rockets (4-18) will now prepare for their contest against Owatonna (Owatonna, MN). The Huskies enter the AAAA Section 1 contest with a 9-15 record. In their last contest, Owatonna ran past Faribault (Faribault, MN), 48-39, in a league contest.
