North Carolina High School Basketball - Seventy-First overwhelms Douglas Byrd
February 17, 2025: Fayetteville, NC 28304 The Seventy-First Falcons basketball team scored 81 points and limited the visiting Douglas Byrd Eagles to 23 in the Falcons league triumph on Monday.
The Falcons now possess a 18-3 record. They play next when they host Jack Britt for a 3A/4A United 8 game on Tuesday, February 18. Seventy-First will play a Buccaneers team coming off a 52-49 league win over Cape Fear (Fayetteville, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 11-14.
With the loss, Douglas Byrd falls to 4-20 on the campaign.
