February 17, 2025: Woodstock, CT 06281 Woodstock Academy Centaurs (Woodstock, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Plainfield Panthers (Central Village, CT), 59-25 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Woodstock Academy upgrades its record to 14-6 on the year. The Centaurs host New London (New London, CT) to face the Whalers in a Eastern Connecticut - 1 match on Wednesday, February 19. The Whalers enter the match with a record of 7-9. New London won 74-34 in their recent league match against East Lyme (East Lyme, CT)
The Panthers now sport a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Putnam for a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. Plainfield will face a Clippers squad coming off a 40-24 league loss to St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT). The Clippers record now stands at 2-10.
