Minnesota High School Basketball - Dover-Eyota toppled by Chatfield
February 18, 2025: Chatfield, MN 55923 Chatfield Gophers (Chatfield, MN) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Dover-Eyota Eagles (Eyota, MN), 70-50 in a league match.
With the victory, Chatfield advances its record to 12-14 on the year. The Gophers travel to St. Charles (St. Charles, MN) to face the Fighting Saints in a AA Section 1 match on Friday, February 21. The Fighting Saints enter the match with a record of 19-6. St. Charles lost 65-50 in their recent non-league match against Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN)
The Eagles now own a 4-20 record. They put it on the line next when they host Albert Lea for a AA Section 1 match on Thursday, February 20. Dover-Eyota will face a Tigers squad coming off a 90-51 non-league loss to John Marshall (Rochester, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 4-17.
