Illinois High School Basketball - Mendota bests Kewanee
February 18, 2025: Kewanee, IL 61443 The Mendota Trojans basketball team scored 69 points and limited the host Kewanee Boilermakers to 56 in the Trojans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Trojans now possess a 20-8 record. They play next when they travel to Putnam County for a non-league game on Thursday, February 20. Mendota will confront a Panthers team coming off a 42-39 league win over Henry-Senachwine (Henry, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 1-27.
With the loss, Kewanee falls to 14-17 on the campaign. The Boilermakers travel to Monmouth-Roseville (Monmouth, IL) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Monday, February 24. The Titans go into the game with a record of 11-18. Monmouth-Roseville lost 55-34 in their recent league game against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL)
