February 18, 2025: Tierra Amarilla, NM 87575 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Escalante Lobos (Tierra Amarilla, NM) and the visiting Penasco Panthers (Penasco, NM), observed Escalante's basketball team overwhelm Penasco by a margin of 71-7.
The Lobos (8-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Mora (Mora, NM). The Rangers/Rangerettes come into the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 20. Penasco will attempt to better on its 2-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 70-60 non-league loss to Escalante (Tierra Amarilla, NM).
