New Mexico High School Basketball - Mesa Vista overwhelms Penasco
February 20, 2025: Ojo Caliente, NM 87549 The Mesa Vista Trojans basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Penasco Panthers to 27 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Trojans now possess a 10-5 record. They play next when they host Mora for a non-league game on Saturday, February 22.
With the loss, Penasco falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Panthers host Questa (Questa, NM) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, February 22. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 2-4. Questa lost 52-41 in their recent non-league game against McCurdy (Espanola, NM)
