Minnesota High School Basketball - Mankato East tops Century
February 19, 2022: Mankato, MN 56001 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mankato East Cougars (Mankato, MN) and the visiting Century Panthers (Rochester, MN), saw Mankato East's basketball squad knock off Century by a tally of 50-35.
With the victory, Mankato East improves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Albert Lea (Albert Lea, MN) to play the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 22. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-13. Albert Lea won 55-28 in their recent non-league challenge against Northfield (Northfield, MN)
Next up, the Panthers play the Faribault Falcons (Faribault, MN) in a AAA Section 1 challenge, on Tuesday, February 22. Century will attempt to improve on its 12-12 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 0-18 record after their 59-37 non-league loss to Owatonna (Owatonna, MN).
