Michigan High School Basketball - Bad Axe tipped by Cass City
February 19, 2024: Cass City, MI 48726 The Cass City Red Hawks basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Bad Axe Hatchets to 43 in the Red Hawks league triumph on Monday.
The Red Hawks now sport a 19-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Michigan Lutheran Seminary for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Cass City will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 58-56 league loss to Millington (Millington, MI). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-11.
The Hatchets (6-13) will now prepare for their contest against Ubly (Ubly, MI). The Bearcats enter the non-league contest with a 11-8 record. In their last contest, Ubly nudged Brown City (Brown City, MI), 61-58, in a league contest.
