February 19, 2024: Tarboro, NC 27886 The Tarboro Vikings routed the visiting Perquimans Pirates basketball team by a final score of 78-53 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Washington County Panthers (Plymouth, NC) in a 1A Four Rivers game, on Wednesday, February 21. Tarboro will attempt to move on its 10-12 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 18-2 record after their 48-46 league loss to Bertie (Windsor, NC).
With the defeat, Perquimans moves to 5-20 on the year.
