February 2, 2023: Wadena, MN 56482 The Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines basketball team scored 73 points and restricted the visiting Bertha-Hewitt Bears to 59 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Thursday.
The Wolverines now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Henning for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 7. Wadena-Deer Creek will battle a Hornets team coming off a 104-34 league win over Sebeka (Sebeka, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 16-1.
The Bears (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Sebeka (Sebeka, MN). The Trojans come into the A Section 5 contest with a 1-14 record.
