Virginia High School Basketball - Riverbend edges Colonial Forge
February 2, 2023: Fredericksburg, VA 22407 The Riverbend Bears (Fredericksburg, VA) basketball nipped the visiting Colonial Forge Eagles (Stafford, VA), 52-45 in Thursday's league test.
The Bears (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Stafford (Falmouth, VA). The Indians go into the Commonwealth test with a 13-6 record.
The Eagles now own a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Brooke Point for a Commonwealth test on Tuesday, February 7. Colonial Forge will encounter a Black Hawks squad coming off a 62-40 league win over Mountain View (Stafford, VA). The Black Hawks record now stands at 7-10.
