The Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Brainerd Warriors to 34 in the Storm league triumph on Thursday.

The Storm now sport a 14-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fergus Falls for a AA Section 8 contest on Tuesday, February 7. Sauk Rapids-Rice will meet a Otters team coming off a 54-35 non-league loss to Detroit Lakes (Detroit Lakes, MN). The Otters record now stands at 5-12.

The Warriors (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN). The Thunderhawks enter the non-league contest with a 18-2 record. In their last contest, Grand Rapids ran past Cloquet (Cloquet, MN), 69-54, in a league contest.
