The Valley Pirates basketball team scored 73 points and held the visiting Greyhills Academy Fightin' Knights to 13 in the Pirates league triumph on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 14-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Round Valley for a 2A North contest on Friday, February 3. Valley will meet a Elks team coming off a 52-36 league win over Pinon (Pinon, AZ). The Elks record now stands at 16-10.
