Virginia High School Basketball - Magna Vista holds off Martinsville
February 2, 2023: Ridgeway, VA 24148 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA) and the visiting Martinsville Bulldogs (Martinsville, VA), saw Magna Vista's basketball squad hold off Martinsville by a tally of 42-36.
With the victory, Magna Vista improves its record to 5-11 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Halifax County (South Boston, VA) to confront the Comets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 7. The Comets come into the challenge with a record of 5-7.
Next up, the Bulldogs confront the Tunstall Trojans (Dry Fork, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 7. Martinsville will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 7-4 record after their 54-33 non-league win over Patrick County (Stuart, VA).
