February 2, 2024: Rector, AR 72461 The Bay Yellowjackets (Bay, AR) basketball knocked off the host Rector Cougars (Rector, AR), 66-51 in Friday's league test.
The Yellowjackets (22-13) will now prepare for their test against Marshall (Marshall, AR). The Bobcats go into the non-league test with a 21-7 record. In their last test, Marshall notched a victory over Izard County (Brockwell, AR), 84-55, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 12-13 record. They play next when they host Manila for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Rector will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 63-60 league loss to Gosnell (Gosnell, AR). The Lions record now stands at 12-16.
