North Carolina High School Basketball - Caldwell Academy holds off Wesleyan Christian Academy
February 2, 2024: High Point, NC 27262 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC) and the host Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans (High Point, NC), saw Caldwell Academy's basketball squad hold off Wesleyan Christian Academy by a tally of 64-62.
With the victory, Caldwell Academy improves its record to 20-8 on the campaign. The travel to Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC) to confront the Furies in a NCISAA Piedmont challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Furies come into the challenge with a record of 23-5. Forsyth Country Day won 76-71 in their recent league challenge against Greensboro Day School (Greensboro, NC)
Next up, the Trojans confront the Calvary Day School Cougars (Winston-Salem, NC) in a NCISAA Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Wesleyan Christian Academy will attempt to improve on its 16-11 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 12-16 record after their 72-70 non-league loss to Roanoke Catholic (Roanoke, VA).
