The Forsyth Country Day (Lewisville, NC) varsity basketball team won Friday's home conference game against Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC) by a score of 65-59.
The Forsyth Country Day Furies basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Wesleyan Christian Academy Trojans to 59 in the Furies league triumph on Friday.
The Furies now sport a 19-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burlington Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 23.
The Trojans (15-8) will now prepare for their contest against Westchester Country Day (High Point, NC). The Wildcats enter the NCISAA Piedmont contest with a 7-12 record. In their last contest, Westchester Country Day was nudged by Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC), 85-47, in a league contest.
