January 10, 2024: Lewisville, NC 27023 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Forsyth Country Day Furies (Lewisville, NC) and the visiting Greensboro Day School Bengals (Greensboro, NC), saw Forsyth Country Day's basketball squad wallop Greensboro Day School by a count of 70-48.
With the victory, Forsyth Country Day upgrades its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Furies travel to Caldwell Academy (Greensboro, NC) to play the in a NCISAA Piedmont challenge on Friday, January 12. The come into the challenge with a record of 15-5. Caldwell Academy won 70-55 in their recent league challenge against Wesleyan Christian Academy (High Point, NC)
Next up, the Bengals play the Westchester Country Day Wildcats (High Point, NC) in a NCISAA Piedmont challenge, on Thursday, January 11. Greensboro Day School will attempt to upgrade on its 16-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 7-9 record after their 68-40 non-league win over Carolina Day (Asheville, NC).
