Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Park holds off Glenbard North
February 2, 2024: Roselle, IL 60172 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) and the visiting Glenbard North Panthers (Carol Stream, IL), saw Lake Park's basketball squad hold off Glenbard North by a tally of 44-42.
With the victory, Lake Park improves its record to 23-3 on the campaign. The Lancers host York (Elmhurst, IL) to confront the Dukes in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Dukes come into the challenge with a record of 21-5. York lost 57-49 in their recent league challenge against Lyons (LaGrange, IL)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Evergreen Park Mustangs (Evergreen Park, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, February 4. Glenbard North will attempt to improve on its 16-9 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 18-8 record after their 58-57 league win over Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL).
