Virginia High School Basketball - Harrisonburg trounces William Monroe
February 2, 2024: Harrisonburg, VA 22801 The Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA) basketball crushed the visiting William Monroe Dragons (Stanardsville, VA), 70-39 in Friday's league test.
The Blue Streaks (13-7) will now prepare for their test against Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Gobblers go into the Valley test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Broadway walloped East Rockingham (Elkton, VA), 63-54, in a league test.
The Dragons now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they host Rockbridge County for a Valley test on Tuesday, February 6. William Monroe will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 67-66 league win over Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 3-20.
